Almedinilla information

Almedinilla is known for the quality of virgin olive oil and by the archaeological settlement of a Roman villa and an Iberian settlement on the Hill of the Cross. Almedinilla is placed to the south of the province of Cordova, near the borders of Cordova with Granada and Jaen.

Almedinilla is the last town of the Province of Cordova to the South, and belongs to the of Municipalities of the 'SubAndalusian Cordobesa'. The olive trees and Albayate's Saw, declared Highland Complex of Environmental Interest, shape the landscape, where the water, which is very present, close to the limy materials that form for the most part the geology of this zone, they form a relief with a set of caves, ravines, beeches, galleries and travertínicas, with vegetation typical of the Mediterranean forest, of which important masses remain in heights of 700 / 900 meters.
